Red Dawn Media started in 2005 as an event photography company but has always been looking for ways to use event photography to enhance the event goers’ experience. We created the RDM Gallery to allow anyone to create an account and upload photos to their own events, which could be viewed on the Red Dawn Media website. Later a galley pushing function was added that allows account holders to push an auto updating listing of their galleries onto their own website. Our focus was to allow event goers to see photos and event sponsors to reach their audience long after. We were always trying to find something more interactive but at the time the texting technology was cumbersome for event goers to add their own photos to the event gallery.

In 2010 the focus was shifted from event photography to the MixlePix photo app. This app integrates with the RDM gallery and allows users to create their own events which anyone can view and upload photos to. Future versions will include the ability to manage your RDM gallery account from within the app, restrict viewing and uploading to your events and much more.
